Closer At Christmas

Closer At Christmas
The world may not have ended yesterday, but there have been a few points this year where it sure felt like it might. I think we all look at our surroundings a bit differently after last week's events in Newtown, CT. There are lessons for us out in the world each and every day. Some days, like a week ago Friday, the lessons are obvious. Other days, less so. Some lessons we must learn repeatedly before we master them.

Lyn and I have had a particularly difficult year, but it hasn't been as bad as some. We're grateful for our blessings, especially the love of family and friends. Our hope is that you all have a happy holiday season, and that you'll take a moment to look around and make note of all that is good in your life. There is no replacement for your health and family. Although this time of year is full of celebration, it is a difficult time for many. If it's been a while since you've told those closest to you how you feel about them, take a moment and let them know. Sometimes we make a difference without realizing it. A little love goes a long way.

May you all have a happy, healthy New Year.

Be well,

Stuart
